Shylos journey

so my baby has had her operation and is looking well
she is eating witch is great and causing trouble lol
i was not allowed to see her as she is to be kept quite and they are having trouble trying to lol

so today is the day were my baby becomes tripawed i cant say im over the moon happy about her loosing a leg but im greatful she isnt been put to sleep and me and her can cause more trouble when she home

yesterday i went and visted her for over a hour she was so happy to see me constanly talking and laying in me

my baby girl goes in for her operation tomorrow

she will stay in the vet for at least a week
so happy

ok so the vet rung me this morning about shylo she wont need her back leg to have a pin in it they are going to heavily cast it

but the only problem is she wont stand up on her back legs 🙁

otherwise she should be going in for opertaion once she can stand on back legs and then will be coming home

I’m new here i have recently got a beautiful 10 week old Airedale beardie great Dane cross

I’ve had this beautiful girl for 2 weeks me and her did everything together but anyway

Last night (17/2/2015) my baby went missing she had gotten out of her collar and went of walking i found her on the side of the road.First i thought she may have been hit by a car.I brought her home were the whole walk home she screamed in pain..I rang the vet around 8:30pm i met them there they put her on some really good pain medication. Shylo stayed in the vet the night this morning she had a xray done were we found out she had crushed her front right shoulder.The operation would cost 2 thousand dollars and even then she may have to get leg amputated due to her still growing.So i decided to go ahead with the amputation they also did a xray on her back legs to find she has 3 broken toes.So well she is getting her leg amputated she is also getting a metal road in her back left leg to help with broken toes.
